SD Shibulal

S.D. Shibulal (Shibu) is the Co-founder, former Member of the Board and CEO of Infosys Ltd. Prior to becoming the CEO and Managing Director, Shibu served as the Chief Operating Officer from 2007 to 2011.

Earlier, Shibu held a number of senior leadership roles including: Head of Worldwide Sales and Customer Delivery. From 1991 to 1996, Shibu had worked with Sun Microsystems in the US, where he led the team which designed and implemented Sun’s first e-commerce application.

In 2014, Shibu co-founded Axilor Ventures – a new generation platform to improve odds of success of entrepreneurs. With three distinct programmes: accelerator, scale-up and early stage funding, Axilor provides infrastructure, mentoring and capital for high-impact, India–focussed start-ups (in the areas of e-commerce, Healthcare and Cleantech).

Driven by his passion for Education and developing the leaders managing the K-12 Government schools across India, Shibu incorporated ShikashaLokam, an Education Leadership Development  platform in 2016.

Now active in multiple States, ShikshaLokam offers open-source technology capabilities and learning and management resources to more than 300,000 leaders, in partnership with State Governments and leading Civil Society Organizations.

Khushboo has 13+ years of diverse experience in education and healthcare domain across product development, project management, program design, community engagement and technology. She is the recipient of Women Transforming India Awards 2021 instituted by NITI Aayog to celebrate women contributions towards a ‘Sashakt Aur Samarth Bharat’, a Schwab Social Innovator of the Year 2023 for her role as a designer and evangelist of the Punjab Education Collective, is part of BW Education 40 Under 40 Power List 2022 with young leaders making a pioneering difference to the education ecosystem and is an Aspen Ananta Emerging Women Leadership Fellow.

Viren Shetty

Mr. Viren Prasad Shetty has been associated with NH since 2004. He is a post-graduate in Business Administration, from Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2012. He is also an undergraduate in civil engineering from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore.

Mr. Viren Prasad Shetty has been instrumental in designing and building some of the key hospitals for Narayana Hrudayalaya Ltd, including the Mazumdar Shaw Medical Center as well as the Multispecialty hospitals in Jaipur and Ahmedabad. He has also worked in operations, supply chain management, business development, strategy, and investor relations at NH.

He has been the Executive Director and Senior Vice President - Strategy since 2012 and was responsible for identifying and developing new growth opportunities for NH.

He was given additional responsibility as Chief Operating Officer in 2019, and designated as Whole-time Director & Group COO, with the additional responsibility of overseeing the business operations, digital transformation, service excellence, new business initiatives, international growth, and the Athma healthcare management system.

The Board of Directors elected Mr. Viren Prasad Shetty as the Vice Chairman of the Board w.e.f. 1st April 2022, and designated him as Executive Vice-Chairman. As Executive Vice Chairman, Mr. Viren Prasad Shetty will continue to provide leadership and strategic guidance to NH while overseeing the development of a new generation of leaders to fulfil our mission of making healthcare accessible to everyone.

Param Iyer

Mr Parameswaran Iyer is the Executive Director - World Bank and former CEO of NITI Aayog and. He is a member of the Indian Administrative Service, Uttar Pradesh Cadre, 1981 batch. With an illustrious career spanning four decades, Mr Iyer has worked in various capacities with both the government and the World Bank.

Between 2016–20, he served as the Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation in New Delhi and led the implementation of India’s flagship $20 billion Swachh Bharat Mission, which delivered access to safe sanitation to 550 million people. 

A well-known water and sanitation expert, Mr Iyer has over 25 years of experience in the sector, having worked in several countries, including Vietnam, China, Egypt and Lebanon. In India, he headed the innovative community-led Swajal Project in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand in the 1990s. The Swajal Project became one of the world’s leading rural water projects pioneering decentralized service delivery and key lessons were scaled up at the national level in India.

Mr Iyer has authored two books: Method in the Madness: Insights from My Career as an Insider-Outsider-Insider (2021) and The Swachh Bharat Revolution: Four Pillars of India's Behavioural Transformation (2019).

Mr Iyer did his Bachelor’s from St Stephen’s College, Delhi University and MBA from the National Management Programme, Management Development Institute, Gurgaon. 

He also served as a Professor of Management Practices at Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.

Dr Urvashi Sahni

Dr Urvashi Sahni is a social entrepreneur, women’s rights activist, and educationist, who has been active in the field for more than three decades. She is a leading expert in school governance, curriculum reform, and teacher training with a special focus on girls’ education and gender equality. She founded Suraksha (a women’s rights organisation), DiDi's (a social enterprise for sustainable livelihoods for women), and the Study Hall Educational Foundation (SHEF). Currently, she is the founder president and CEO of SHEF. Over the last 3 decades, Dr. Sahni’s work, through SHEF and its schools and outreach initiatives, has impacted more than 100,000 teachers and 5 million children, most of whom are girls from disadvantaged communities. Additionally, Dr Sahni is an Ashoka Fellow, a non-resident fellow at the Center for Universal Education at The Brookings Institution, U.S.A., and a former member of Rajasthan's Chief Minister's Advisory Council. In 2017, she was declared the Social Entrepreneur of the Year India by the Schwab-Jubilant Bhartiya Foundation, and joined the international fellowship of Schwab social entrepreneurs. She is also a co-creator of Catalyst 2030, a global network of over 600 social entrepreneurs engaged in expediting the SDGs globally through their innovations. Currently she has been invited by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to serve on the Steering Committee for the Implementation of the National Education Policy of India 2020. Recently, Dr Sahni was named in Asia's Most Influential: The Impact List 2020 (a list of the most impactful individuals who are defining the future of Asia) published by Tatler Magazine.

Ashif Shaikh

Mr. Ashif Shaikh is the co-founder of Jan Sahas. He has over 20 years of experience working towards safe migration, ending forced labour practices and violence against women. He has been working towards eradicating the inhuman practice of manual scavenging, caste-based commercial sexual exploitation of children and trafficking, and supporting survivors of rape, trafficking, and sexual abuse to access justice in India. Ashif is leading the Migrant Resilience Collaborative (MRC) which works with 3.2 million migrant households across 98 districts of 13 states of India. Jan Sahas has released and rehabilitated 66,000 people from manual scavenging and other forms of forced labour and supported 28,000 survivors of rape, sexual violence, and trafficking.

Mr. Shaikh is a member of various committees of NITI Aayog, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, and other ministries of the Government of India, and has received various national and international awards and fellowships, including Ashoka Fellowship, Times of India Social Impact Award, and Star Impact Award by Bill Clinton, 42nd president of the United States of America. He is on the boards of multiple national and international CSOs and networks

K Tulasi Vishnu Prasad Sir is the Vice President (for Quality) at NISA - which stands for National Independent School Alliance.  Under his leadership, NISA had partnered with Mantra and other organisations in AP, to run the standards-driven school improvement program. Tulasi Sir is also the State General Secretary of AP Unaided Schools Managements' Association.  He runs a school called Srirama rural academy, Started in 1949 by his grandfather, the first residential school in AP and TS for the marginalized communities in the rural parts of Andhra Pradesh. He is an excellent speaker and a wonderful leader!

Santosh More

Santosh More worked with Infosys Technologies for 2.5 years after completing his Engineering. In 2009, he joined the 2-year Teach for India fellowship, where he taught Grade 2 students in a Govt.-run school for 2 years.

Post his fellowship, Santosh joined Janaagraha and worked as Program Manager for 2.5 years, where he led the national level ‘Jaagte Raho’ campaign for Voter awareness.

While working at Janaagraha, Santosh co-founded Mantra Social Services (Mantra4Change) in March 2013 with a vision to help under-resourced schools provide quality education. Since June 2014, Santosh has been working with Mantra in a full-time capacity.

Dr Shailendra Hegde

Dr. Shailendra Hegde is a medical doctor with specialization in Public Health and Preventive Medicine from St. John’s Medical College and a specialization in Management of International Organizations from University of Geneva, Switzerland. With over 16 years’ experience in leading and delivering clinical services, conducting community-based research and providing academic training in a variety of health care institutions, Dr. Hegde is well versed in managing large health care programs.

Currently at JHPIEGO, Dr. Hegde is a Director and leads all programs in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Prior to joining JHPIEGO, Dr. Hegde set up and led the Innovations vertical at Piramal Swasthya, under which he designed and implemented pilot projects ranging from Tribal maternal and child health initiatives to the NCD screening including Cancer Screening. He led the founding team that strategized and implemented Anamaya, the Tribal Health Collaborative, a-first-of-its-kind initiative to end preventable deaths among Tribal Peoples of India.

Ashwin Deshmukh

Mr. Ashwin Deshmukh leads the Operations of Anamaya, the Tribal Health Collaborative at Piramal Foundation. An engineer by training, Mr. Deshmukh brings a decade-long experience in managing large projects in the telecom and banking sectors, to the development sector, thereby improving governance and accountability.

Until April 2021, he led the Aspirational Districts Transformation Program, where he managed a team of 350 people and was instrumental in developing the strategy and its implementation, to transform the way in which primary health care is delivered in the Government Health System, in 25 aspirational districts, through a systems approach. He brought his deep experience from the aspirational districts into that founding team that established Anamaya, the Tribal Health Collaborative. He subsequently transitioned into leading complex operations of the Tribal Health Collaborative. 

His understanding of the public health functioning in India is hands-on and very much grass-root oriented. Over the last 7 years of his work in Public Health, he has developed a deep understanding of the entire health ecosystem in India and more so in the context of tribal populations of India. He is also currently pursuing MSc in Global Health from the prestigious London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Rucha Pande

Rucha Pande is Chief Operating Officer at Mantra4Change and the Head of CoLab - Mantra’s Education Lab. Prior to this, she headed the Design team at Mantra since 2017. A graduate of MA in Education from the Azim Premji University, Rucha specializes in creating various frameworks for design and Monitoring & Evaluation for multiple projects run by Mantra4Change. She has been a part of the organization since 2017. Dr. Krithi Karanth

Dr. Krithi Karanth is Chief Conservation Scientist and Director at the Centre for Wildlife Studies, Adjunct Faculty at Duke and National Centre for Biological Sciences. She has a Ph.D. from Duke (2008), a M.E.Sc from Yale (2003), and, B.S and B.A degrees from the University of Florida (2001). She has also completed executive-education courses at Harvard, Oxford, and Stanford.As a scientist, her research in India and Asia spanning 23 years encompasses many issues in the human dimensions of wildlife conservation. She has conducted macro-level studies assessing patterns of species distributions and extinctions, impacts of wildlife tourism, consequences of voluntary resettlement, land use change, and understanding human-wildlife interactions. She has published 100+ scientific and popular articles in English and Kannada. Krithi served on the editorial boards of journals Conservation Biology, Conservation Letters, and Frontiers in Ecology and Environment. Krithi has mentored over 200 young scientists from India, US, Chile, UK, Australia, Indonesia etc. and engaged 750 citizen science volunteers in her research and conservation projects. As a conservationist, she has designed Wild Seve, Wild Shaale, and Wild Surakshe programs.

As a storyteller Krithi has collaborated with painters, illustrators, film-makers, and photographers. Krithi's conservation and research work has been featured in 3 award-winning BBC Series - The Hunt, Big Cats, and Dynasties, and in documentaries by CBC and PBS. She has co-produced 4 documentaries Wild Seve, Humane Highways, Wild Shaale, and Flying Elephants. In 2020 she co-starred with Kevin Pietersen in Save This Rhino: India by Disney Hotstar and National Geographic. She has written a bilingual children's book with artist Raghava KK and is actively working on various other collaborations with artists.Krithi's work has been covered by over 200 international media outlets such as Washington Post, Time Magazine, Al Jazeera Television, BBC, Christian Science Monitor, GQ India, Harper's Bazaar, Mongabay, Monocle, National Geographic, NPR, New York Times, Scientific American, and Indian outlets such as All India Radio, Deccan Chronicle, Deccan Herald, Down to Earth, Kannada Prabha, LiveMint, New Indian Express, Prajavani, The Hindu, and Times of India.Krithi is National Geographic Society's 10,000th grantee and a 2012 Emerging Explorer. Shruti Shibulal

Shruti Shibulal is CEO and Director of Tamara Leisure Experiences. She strives to make Tamara synonymous with responsible tourism by incorporating principles of sustainability into the development and operations of each of Tamara's properties and creating impactful employment within their respective communities. Tamara operates resorts and hotels in South India, and has interests in Germany as well.

Shruti is a Trustee of the Advaith Foundation and SD Foundation, organizations involved in providing educational opportunities and healthcare assistance to underprivileged sections of society. She is also a Trustee of WEP - Women's Education Project, which focuses on educating and uplifting young women from vulnerable backgrounds. Shruti is on the Governing Board of ATREE - Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and Environment. 

In 2019, Shruti launched SAATHIYA - a hospitality skilling program which enables young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to become employable within the restaurant and hotel industries. Sundeep Talwar

Sundeep Talwar is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of The Akshaya Patra Foundation, the world’s largest NGO-run school meal programme, feeding over 1.8 million children (as of March 2020) every day through 58 kitchens across 13 states and 1 UT in India.

Sundeep is a dual post-graduate in management from Duke & IIM-Ahmedabad and certified Black-Belt in Quality, with over 26 years of work experience in marketing & communications with leading corporates, especially in the telecom sector.

Before joining Akshaya Patra as the CMO, he was associated with Aircel as the National Business Head (Mobility Operations), driving their mobile banking operations nationally. Prior to that, he has essayed senior leadership roles with brands like Bharti Airtel, Motorola, Escotel (Idea) & Essar (Vodafone) in India and Africa. He also has an international accreditation from BID Spain for developing the first anti-virus application. He is a seasoned professional trainer and has given talks on various subjects in prestigious schools like the IIM, IIPM and IMT over the years.

His search for ‘Existential Purpose’ in life made him quit a corporate career and join The Akshaya Patra Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation with the — vision: ‘No child in India shall be deprived of education because of hunger’.

Akshaya Patra has received ‘Gold Shield’ award seven times in a row from the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for excellence in financial reporting and has been inducted into the ICAI Hall of Fame. Harvard Business School has done a case study on Akshaya Patra, while MIT has featured it in its technology review. The Foundation has been covered by Forbes Magazine, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, CNN and BBC, and has also been certified as a ‘Great Place to Work’ by the GPW Institute of India in the category of small and mid-sized organisations.

Akshaya Patra's mission is to feed '5 million children every school day by 2025’. It has been rated as one of the Top 100 NGOs in the World (ranking 23rd) by the Global Journal of Geneva. Manu Gupta

Manu Gupta is Co-Founder of SEEDS, a not-for-profit organisation that enables community resilience through practical solutions in the areas of disaster readiness, response, and rehabilitation.  On the frontlines, SEEDS is enabling communities to be proactive and responsive to disasters and, at the macro-level, it is influencing and enabling national and international governments to devise effective strategies towards mitigation, relief, recovery and reconstruction.

Manu is building resilient communities across Asia Pacific. He has been at the forefront of championing and advocating for citizen-led initiatives. He brings ground realities to global perspectives and is actively involved in global conversations on humanitarian issues.

He is simultaneously enabling multiple stakeholders such as national and state governments, United Nations bodies and civil society organisations in the region to proactively and effectively mitigate and reduce the impact of disasters.

He has 29 years of experience in the sector, spanning national and regional advocacy, mobilisation of community-led efforts in recovery and risk reduction, climate change adaptation and emerging issues such as humanitarian partnerships and accountability. Manu has worked with a wide spectrum of communities across Asia and has been elected as an Ashoka Fellow in recognition of his tireless efforts.

He sits on the boards of several global and national organisations and visits faculty to several global institutions. Manu holds degrees in Physical Planning and Urban Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, and a doctorate in community-based disaster management from Kyoto University, Japan.

Uma Mahadevan

Smt Uma Mahadevan is a 1992 batch IAS officer of Karnataka cadre who is currently serving as the Principal Secretary (Panchayati Raj) in Department of Rural Development & Panchayat Raj, Govt of Karnataka. She holds a postgraduate degree in English literature and has also authored multiple articles/publications covering sociocultural & arts discourses.

She has served in multiple capacities at the centre and the state, prominent among them are as Principal secretary, Department of Agriculture, Education, Health & Family Welfare, Women & Child development.

Sanjay Purohit

Sanjay has over 30 years of diverse and global experience across the corporate and social development sectors. This spans senior leadership and entrepreneurial roles in management, corporate strategy, digital

Under his leadership, Infosys won the Force of Ideas Award from Corporate Strategy Board, USA, for innovative planning methods. Pramod Varma

Dr. Pramod Varma is the Ex-Chief Architect of Aadhaar, India's digital identity program that has successfully covered more than 1.3 billion people. He was also the chief architect for various India Stack layers such as eSign, Digital Locker, and Unified Payment Interface (UPI), and Data Empowerment and Protection Architecture (DEPA), and all of which are now working at population scale in India. He also played integral role in architecting India’s digital health infrastructure (ABDM), vaccination & immunization infrastructure (Co-WIN and DIVOC), and Unified Health Interface (UHI).

He is currently the CTO of EkStep Foundation, a not-for-profit creating learner-centric digital public goods under Project Sunbird (sunbird.org) that powers India’s largest digital learning platform called DIKSHA. These are used to provide learning opportunities to 200 million children and 10+ million teachers in India and also used in other learning, skilling, and capacity building efforts in India and other countries. As part of this effort, he also helped design India’s digital education & skilling architecture
blueprint called NDEAR.

As the Co-Founder of FIDE.org, he is the genesis author of the open source beckn protocol (becknprotocol.io) that helps create decentralized open discovery, fulfillment, and transaction networks. Beckn protocol is the base protocol for India’s new efforts such as Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), Kochi Open Mobility Network (KOMN), and Unified Health Interface (UHI).

He is an advisor to Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), National Payment Corporation (NPCI), Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN), National Health Authority (NHA), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Turing Institute Identity Initiative in the UK, and helps with many digital public infrastructure (DPI/DPG) initiatives in India and across the globe.

Pramod holds a Master’s and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science along with a second Master’s in Applied Mathematics. His interests include Internet scale distributed architectures and intelligent systems. He is passionate about technology, science, society, and teaching.

K Giriprakash

K Giriprakash is an award-winning journalist with over 30 years of experience. He is currently the Business Editor of The Federal, a digital news and views platform. He previously headed the Bangalore edition of The Hindu Business Line, a business daily which is part of the Hindu newspaper group for over a decade.

Giriprakash has written a book on the liquor baron Vijay Mallya, The Vijay Mallya Story, published by Penguin Random House. The book has been translated into Hindi, Kannada and Marathi languages. A major OTT platform has bagged the movie rights for the book. The book is also part of Penguin Random House's best business books series. He is currently working on another non-fiction book. 

A science graduate, Giriprakash started his journalism career with Indian Express in Bangalore. He later moved to Delhi, working with The Pioneer, Business Standard and Reuters News Agency. He returned to Bangalore to launch the Bangalore Edition of Business Standard.

Chetan Kapoor

Chetan is an accomplished development professional with over two decades of rich experience in the Education and Skill Development sectors. He joined Tech Mahindra Foundation as the Chief Operating Officer in October 2016, and prior to this, was associated with the Foundation as a consultant since April 2012. In this capacity, he conceptualized the Foundation's flagship Skill Development Program (SMART), which is now one of the largest CSR-led urban skill development programs in India.

Prior to joining TMF, Chetan led his consulting company Edulever, which he founded in 2009. He is also the co-founder of Agrasar, a developmental organization working for Skills, Social Security and Education in Gurugram. Earlier, he worked with the American India Foundation (AIF), working as the Regional Head of the Digital Equalizer Program (bringing usable technology to education) and Bharti Foundation. Before this, he was the Director of Programs with Pratham where he worked extensively in the field of primary education, heading programs in Delhi and then in North India.

Before choosing to crossover into the development sector, he did his MBA in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, and worked with Apollo Tyres Ltd. He lives in Gurgaon with his wife Amrita and two sons, Aatmaj and Aadhar.

Ayush Prasad

Ayush is Chief Executive Officer of Pune Zilla Parishad. Ayush started his career at TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) Innovation Labs where he was part of a team that developed four patents, including mobile wallets. He has been part of Young India Fellowship (YIF) which opened his eyes to multiplicity and to a life that went beyond binaries. He won full scholarship at the institute and has also completed a one-year programme in leadership and liberal arts from the University of Pennsylvania. Ayush has also worked with the largest Financial Services Organisation – The State Bank of India Group as a Deputy Manager. 

Ayush started as the Assistant Collector of Osmanabad, after which he was appointed as the Assistant Secretary with the Expenditure Department, Ministry of Finance. He has been the Assistant Collector Khed with the additional charge of Project Officer – Ghodegaon with the Tribal Development Department. He has also been the Assistant Collector of Pune earlier. 

Interestingly, four generations of Ayush’s family, including Ayush Prasad, have been into civil services in a row. His great grandfather (ICS during British rule) and grandfather (IAS) too had been Civil Servants, making the family perhaps the only one to achieve this rare feat. His father A M Prasad (IPS) was the ADGP in Karnataka State Intelligence Department (current rank to be verified), while his mother Dr Amita Prasad (IAS), was the Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India, and headed the clean Ganga mission. His younger sister Anusha was pursuing Law at Christ University, Bengaluru (as of Dec 2020). 

Ayush Prasad did his early schooling at St Aloysius School, Urwa, Karnataka. Due to frequent transfers of his parents, he ended up studying in 12 schools across the state. Ayush Prasad completed his engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology in 2010.

Samar Bajaj

Samar is a Director at the India office of the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. She leads several projects across the areas of education and livelihoods. In her current role at the Foundation, she partners with mission-driven organizations to scale high impact initiatives and drive lasting systems change. 

Before joining the foundation, Samar spent over 10 years as a management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Ernst & Young (EY). She has worked across multiple sectors including media, consumer internet, consumer goods & retail. As a consultant, she focused extensively on researching & measuring consumer behavior and is now applying the same techniques to the most pressing social issues facing our world today.

Karuna Vakaati, 2004 batch IAS officer, is the Secretary of the Department of Education, Government of Telangana. Previously she served as Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare, where she has been instrumental in successful implementation of key initiatives like KCR Kits (kits provided to women at the time of delivery in government hospitals), which improved institutional deliveries in Telangana. Earlier, she has also worked as Warangal Collector.

Kabir Sethi

Kabir is an Associate Partner with Dalberg based in Mumbai. In the last five years at Dalberg, Kabir has advised governments, foundations, multilateral organizations, and private corporations on monitoring, evaluation, strategy development, effective technology use, and organizational design. He is especially interested in helping organizations define their vision and take tangible steps toward achieving it.

Before Dalberg, Kabir worked as the Associate Vice President for Strategy at the Lodha Group. He was previously a Project Leader at the Boston Consulting Group, where his clients’ included governments, financial services institutions, and consumer goods companies. Kabir holds an MA in International Economics and Development from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a BA in Economics and Political Science from Macalester College. 

Kabir has worked extensively in Dalberg’s Education to Employment, Digital & Data, and Financial Inclusion practice areas. He led Dalberg’s engagement with an EdTech company to design a product to reach low income students. Previously, He also led a study on the impacts of Covid-19 on Early Childhood Development across India and supported the design of the ~USD 20-30M 4-year ‘Back to School the Outcomes Fund’ that aims to build both the supply of solutions to address the foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) learning crisis in India. He has also supported the Government of Andhra Pradesh in designing and deploying one of India’s largest government-backed EdTech initiative, expected to impact 2.5 million students over five years. In the skilling space, he helped design the strategy for a flagship skilling institute, and supported an NGO scale their program to expand access, especially for women.

K Tulasi Vishnu Prasad Sir is the Vice President (for Quality) at NISA - which stands for National Independent School Alliance.  Under his leadership, NISA had partnered with Mantra and other organisations in AP, to run the standards-driven school improvement program. Tulasi Sir is also the State General Secretary of AP Unaided Schools Managements' Association.  He runs a school called Srirama rural academy, Started in 1949 by his grandfather, the first residential school in AP and TS for the marginalized communities in the rural parts of Andhra Pradesh. He is an excellent speaker and a wonderful leader!

Santosh More worked with Infosys Technologies for 2.5 years after completing his Engineering. In 2009, he joined the 2-year Teach for India fellowship, where he taught Grade 2 students in a Govt.-run school for 2 years.

Post his fellowship, Santosh joined Janaagraha and worked as Program Manager for 2.5 years, where he led the national level ‘Jaagte Raho’ campaign for Voter awareness.

While working at Janaagraha, Santosh co-founded Mantra Social Services (Mantra4Change) in March 2013 with a vision to help under-resourced schools provide quality education. Since June 2014, Santosh has been working with Mantra in a full-time capacity.

Dr Francois Bonnici

Director of the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship and Head of Social Innovation at the World Economic Forum. Dr Bonnici is a public health physician, university professor, social change practitioner, foundation leader and author of a new book, The Systems Work of Social Change. He was the former Founding Director of the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship, University of Cape Town, the first academic centre dedicated to social innovation in Africa, where he still serves as Adjunct Associate Professor.

His career is rooted in front-line medical and humanitarian work and he has worked extensively with public sector, civil society, business and philanthropy to build progressive and catalytic partnerships.
